“A profile of Matteo Righetto, a high school teacher and a published writer from Padova, Italy. Far from acclaimed cultural and intellectual circles, Matteo has published two novels and is an up-and-coming Italian pulp/noir writer.

Thanks to his unorthodox style and his intent to be a cultural agitator, Matteo constantly engages students in his activities and thanks to his work and his books, many of them picked up a book for the first time in their lives and began to read. With the help of social networks he created a literary movement, called Sugarpulp, which has thousands of followers all over the country
