Sintesi: Arte digitale e video di Caterina Davinio presentata da Nenad Bogdanovich.
Tra i pionieri dell’arte digitale italiana e della computer poetry nel 1990, nonché autrice di poesia, narrativa e saggistica, Caterina Davinio è attiva in numerosi campi dell’arte sperimentale, dal video alla computer art, alla video-performance, alla fotografia digitale. Ha presentato il suo lavoro più volte alla Biennale di Venezia, dove ha esposto opere digitali, video e net-art in vari progetti partecipativi dal 1997, collaborando anche come curatrice. Nel 1998 ha creato la “Net-poetry”, uno sviluppo della net-art che coinvolge poesia sperimentale e performance in eventi reali e virtuali di comunicazione simultanei e multilocati, cui hanno partecipato artisti e poeti in tutto il mondo (Karenina.it, Global Poetry, GATES, e altri). Tra le mostre:   Liverpool Biennial (spazi indipendenti 2006 e 2008), Biennale of Sidney (Online Venue 2008), Athens Biennial (2007), Biennales de Lion (1999 e International Kiosk 2007), Biennale de Paris (2004, nel Comitato Promotore).

Synthesis: Caterina Davinio’s digital art and video presented by Nenad Bogdanovich. Caterina Davinio, pioneer of Italian digital art and computer poetry in 1990, and also author of poetry, novels, essays, is active in numerous fields of experimental art, such as: video art, video poetry, computer art, digital visual poetry, video-performance, digital elaborated photography, on line performances and events. Her work has been exhibited several times in the Venice Biennale since 1997, where she created participative events collaborating also as curator. In 1998 she was the creator of Italian “Net-poetry”, a development of net-art related to multi-located experimental poetry events, on line and in real spaces (Karenina.it, Global Poetry, GATES, others).  Other exhibitions: Biennale of Sidney (Online Venue 2008), Athens Biennial (2007), Liverpool Biennial (Independents 2006 and 2008), Biennales de Lion (1999 and Intern. Kiosk 2007), Biennale de Paris (2004).
